Besides being an experienced and dedicated Travel Industry professional, Theresa Schoenbaum is an active community volunteer.  Every year during the Christmas season she volunteers at a local organization to serve meals to the less fortunate.  Theresa Schoebaum volunteered to cook several times a month for a few of her retired neighbors when she learned it was something they needed.  She is also an environmental health and animal welfare advocate.  Theresa Schoenbaum works to further these interests as a Sierra Club member and supporter of the ASPCA. In addition to her charity and volunteer work, Theresa Schoenbaum enjoys a variety of interests and hobbies.  She enjoys cooking and dreams of owning her own restaurant one day.  Theresa Schoenbaum hikes and camps regularly as she enjoys the outdoors.  She is also an avid photographer specializing in Nature Photography.  And, as can be expected as a Travel Industry professional, Theresa Schoenbaum loves to travel.  The excitement of experiencing a new culture keeps her travelling and exploring whenever she can. Managed International and Domestic travel requests for high profile contracts including St Jude Medical, Red Cross, and Exxon Mobil. Facilitated uniquely complex multi-segment and multi-destination travel arrangements for executives/VIPs including maximizing efficient scheduling of combined air, car and hotel reservations. Domestic and International. Well experienced expertise with both the Sabre GDS system and Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) internal operating systems, policies and procedures. Knowledgeable in corporate negotiated contracts, ticketing exchanges, DHS/TSA requirements, customer service inquiries. Advised clients of current international travel requirements including required immunizations, visas, passports and travel restrictions. Continuous tracking of current international affairs/news through State Dept and TSS websites as well as various news agencies in order to advise travelling clients appropriately. Dedicated to providing a consistently high level of customer service.

Managed International and Domestic travel requests for St Jude executives and VP's with an emphasis on customized service. Tracked individual tickets waiting for proper seat assignment/upgrade options in order to accomodate special requests/needs such as for a 6'10" tall VP. Saved the AF division $6K in travel expenses by determining that certificates could be used to reserve business class tickets for the price of coach fares for 2 VPs. This was the savings for one trip. Performed service to employee walk ins answering questions, advising on St Jude Medical travel policies and booking air, hotel, car and group reservations. Developed expertise with the Sabre GDS system.

Managed Domestic and International travel bookings exclusively for VIP clients with multiple high level accounts including Qualcomm and Kyocera Corporations. Routinely searched out opportunities to upgrade client tickets and accommodations no extra charge. Provided RT Business Class upgrades as well as the use of the BA Terrace Lounge at both SAN and at LH for a client travelling to the Netherlands resulting in a thank you letter from the client as well as his repeat business.
